Implemented a bilateral site (sample) with Lightning + Bogo!

This blog is posted as an article in the Japanese version of the bilingual sample site (latest news). Today, I would like to reveal the whole picture of the bilingual site and explain the mechanism of the bilingual site.

First of all, in order to build a bilingual site, bilingual is realized by using the plug-in “Bogo”. In that sense, it is a commentary that specializes in how to use the plug-in “Bogo”.

When you create a page using the plug-in “Bogo”, the URL of the page has a specification common to each page. For example, the URL of the top page (Japanese version) of this site is https://fujisaki.world/bilingual/.

The URL of the corresponding English version top page “Home” is https://fujisaki.world/bilingual/en/. That is, the URL of the English version page is the URL of the Japanese version page with “en” added.

Similarly, the URL of the Japanese version of the lower page “Company Profile” is https://fujisaki.world/bilingual/company-profile/, and the URL of the corresponding English version of the page “company profile” is https://fujisaki. It will be world / bilingual / en / company-profile /. (For details, refer to “URL list of each page” on the top page)

To switch to the English version, click [English] at the right end of the navigation bar to link to “Home” at the top of the English version, and the navigation menu will also switch to English display.

Similarly, if you want to switch from the English version to the Japanese version, click [Japanese] at the right end of the English version navigation bar to return to the Japanese version top. This language switching function has the same meaning as the “Language switching” button at the top of the sidebar.

And one of the great things about this “Bogo” is that there are two blog posts, one in Japanese and one in English. The Japanese version of “Latest News” is the Japanese version of the blog, and the English version of “The Latest News” is the English version of the blog.

The principle of WordPress blogs is “1 site = 1 blog”, but if you use this “Bogo”, it is a word of “great” that it functions as if it were “1 site = 2 blogs”. You should use it a lot! !!
